What to expect
During the session, Jessica, certified yoga therapist, will guide you through a practice using yoga techniques designed to quiet the mind, calm the nervous system, and release muscle tension. SRY is a very slow, profound practice which helps you break through deeply-seated patterns and habits by slowly releasing the muscles surrounding the spine.
First, give us a call/text or schedule a time for us to call/text you. This consultation ensures that we are the right fit.
Book the intro package of two sessions. This package includes two personalized 1:1 sessions with Jessica, PYT: an initial assessment and customized plan of care and a follow-up session, with a full spinal release, featuring hands-on releases.
Next, we will meet for an introductory session. This intro session includes (but is not limited to) assessing and addressing sleep habits, breathing habits, physical tensions, and stressors. You will discuss any concerns you are experiencing.
From there, we create a plan of care specific to your needs that you can do at home. All sessions can be completed in person (Madison, AL) or over live video (Zoom).
At the end of these two sessions, you can decide the best options going forward — either continuing 1:1 or joining the small group classes.
We ask for a commitment of at least four weeks to start, but also encourage a continued practice, either 1:1 or in a group setting, after that.
